Stochastic Buffeting Analysis of Uncertain Long-Span Bridge Deck with an Optimized Method

The buffeting analysis of an uncertain long-span bridge deck was carried out in this paper. Due to the effect strong spatial correlation wind excitation, it should be assumed as partially coherent multiple excitations. following includes a theoretical formula for with parameters, which achieved mainly by combination stochastic pseudo excitation method (SPEM) and response surface (RSM). SPEM-RSM firstly applied deal complicated spectral density function matrix excitation. then calculated verified results from Monte Carlo simulation (MCS). efficiency applicability hybrid proved. After comparison, structural parameters speed on performance were computed. showed that whole uncertainties essentially affected deck. played most significant role vertical lateral motion joint influences between further affect random characteristics responses. Finally, effects different angle attack aerodynamic are examined. variance responses increased development speed. angles significant.
